Please join the New York Young Republican Club, Inc. at the Women's Nat'l Republican Club on November 20th, when the National Review's Rich Lowry speaks to our club and signs his new book "Legacy". The event begins at 7pm.
Lowry graduated in 1990 from the University of Virginia, where he studied English and history. While there, he edited a conservative monthly magazine called the Virginia Advocate He went on to work as a research assistant for Charles Krauthammer, then as a reporter for a local paper in Northern Virginia. He joined National Review in 1992, after finishing second in a NR young writers contest. He became articles editor before moving to Washington in the summer of 1994 to cover Congress. He has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Reader Digest, and a variety of other publications on topics ranging He was named editor of National Review in 1997. He lives in New York City.
