THE NEW YORK YOUNG REPUBLICAN CLUB TO WELCOME CONSERVATIVEPUNK.COM COLUMNIST MICHALE GRAVES:

New York Young Republican Club, Inc. is pleased to announce that Michale Graves, former frontman of the seminal punk band The Misfits, will be the guest speaker at the next General Meeting of the NYYRC on October 21st. The event will be held at the Women?s National Republican Club, beginning at 7:00pm.

Formed in New Jersey in 1977, The Misfits quickly earned a reputation as one of the punk scene?s most influential voices, inspiring bands for years to come, including such acts as Metallica and Guns N' Roses. Graves joined the group in 1995. Since The Misfits disbanded in 2001, Graves fronted his own bands Graves and, later, Gotham Road.

Graves is also a columnist for conservativepunk.com, a website designed to educate, inform, and increase the little-known demographic of the conservative punk. On October 21st, Graves will discuss conservative and liberal politics in the punk rock music industry. This event is open to the media as well as the public.

The New York Young Republican Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit political organization that exists to bring Republicans aged 18-40 together to discuss the Republican Party platform and aid the Republican Party in the education of the public about the Republican agenda and the promotion of Republican candidates for office.
