New York Young Republican Club, Inc. wishes to congratulate President George W. Bush on his effective, moving performance during last nightıs first presidential debate.

Last night, President Bush demonstrated the clarity of focus and the steady leadership heıs given this country since he took office, and especially since the day that changed this country and the world forever, September 11, 2001. Conversely, last nightıs debate also proved once again that Senator John Kerryıs consistently inconsistent views and shifting strategies on critical foreign policy issues are woefully out of touch, even dangerous, utterly unsuited for these trying times.

The first presidential debate should again make it clear to the American people that there is only one candidate who will keep our country strong and safe: President George W. Bush.
