THE NEW YORK YOUNG REPUBLICAN CLUB, INC. THANKS RNC OPENING NIGHT SPEAKERS

The New York Young Republican Club, Inc. would like to thank everyone who made the opening night of the Republican National Convention in New York City such a success. Our gratitude and admiration is owed especially to Senator John McCain and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, whose powerful words should serve to enlighten and inspire not just Republicans, but all Americans. It is indeed regrettable ? though unfortunately not surprising perhaps that the major broadcast networks chose not to run the keynote speeches from a genuine war hero and patriot like Senator McCain, and from Mayor Giuliani, whose bravery and leadership in the face of the terror attacks on September 11, 2001 earned him the label Mayor of the World.

New York Young Republican Club would also like to thank Mayor Michael Bloomberg, RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, and former New York City Mayor Ed Koch for their words of support, and for the words of speaker and respected actor Ron Silver, who proved that there are those in Hollywood who have great respect for President George W. Bush and his leadership. These esteemed guests demonstrated that the Republican Party is both diverse and yet united firmly behind President George W. Bush.

The New York Young Republican Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit political organization that exists to bring Republicans aged 18-40 together to discuss the Republican Party platform and aid the Republican Party in the education of the public about the Republican agenda and the promotion of Republican candidates for office.
