SEAN "PUFFY" COMBS AND MTV VISIT THE NEW YORK YOUNG REPUBLICAN CLUB'S PARTY FOR THE PRESIDENT
Sean "Puffy" Combs hung out at Connelly's in midtown with more than 125 members of the New York Young Republican Club at their Party for the President, last night. Armed with a megaphone and a microphone "Puffy" interviewed the YRs, questioning them on a variety of different issues, promising to "Be as hard on the Democrats" when he interviews them. "Puffy" and MTV's "Choose or Lose" campaign filmed for his upcoming show to be aired prior to the November election. NYYRC President Dennis Cariello encapsulated the evening by saying, "It's a pleasure that MTV and "Puffy" came to our Party for President Bush to promote our vital American right to vote. We're so proud and honored to have hosted this great event."
The Young Republicans convened earlier in the evening for their July monthly meeting where Richard Poe addressed the crowd in regards to his new book "Hillary's Secret War". The attendants also heard from Spokesperson Rori Smith from the Republican National Convention about the numerous opportunities to volunteer before and during the week of August 30th - September 2nd. Members were also delighted to take part of a conference call held in conjunction with 7,000 other Parties for the President across the nation. First Lady Laura Bush and President George W Bush both addressed everyone and thanked them for all of their tireless efforts and support!The New York Young Republican Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit political organization that exists to bring Republicans aged 18-40 together to discuss the Republican Party platform and aid the Republican Party in the education of the public about the Republican agenda and the promotion of Republican candidates for office.
