THE NEW YORK YOUNG REPUBLICAN CLUB, INC. TO WELCOME RICHARD POE, AUTHOR OF HILLARY'S SECRET WAR, ON JULY 15:

New York Times-bestselling author, respected columnist, and noted cyberjournalist Richard Poe will be discussing his new book, Hillary's Secret War, on July 15, as a guest of The New York Young Republican Club. Poe's book details former First Lady Hillary Clinton's attempts to discredit, intimidate, and silence those who dared to criticize her.

According to Poe, throughout the 1990s, the former First Lady's operatives gagged Internet dissidents, hushed witnesses, neutralized federal investigations, blackmailed senators and congressmen and intimidated journalists. Mrs. Clinton and her cronies saw the freedom of the "unregulated" Internet as a threat to their power, and potentially devastating in its ability to bypass the controlled, corporate media. For that reason, Hillary's secret police persecuted Internet dissidents with special ferocity. Hillary's Secret War tells the story of a group of rebel journalists on the Web who defied an outlaw White House, endured government repression, exposed unspeakable treason at the pinnacle of power and helped change the course of the 2000 election. Their tale has never before been told.

A contributing editor for News Max magazine and NewsMax.com, Poe will discuss Hillary's Secret War at the Women's National Republican Club (3 W est 51st Street btwn 5th & 6th) on July 15th. Poe -- a former editor of FrontPageMagazine.com, senior editor of Success magazine, reporter for the New York Post, and managing editor of the East Village Eye -- will be signing books at the event, which is free of charge and open to the public.
